About Xü Zhao-hui
As a full-time artist, Xü is good at using automatic techniques to create abstract paintings. Her works combine Eastern and Western styles, switch between realism and abstractionism. She has won many art awards, such as the Japan Calligraphy Association, the Suixi Art Award, the Hsinchu Art Award, the National Oil Painting Art Award, the Taiwan National Art Award, the Taiyang Art Award, the Pingtung Art Award, the Taitung Art Award, and the Yushan Art Award.
