藝術家朱先仙
朱先仙，1981年生，台灣台中人，英國里茲大都會大學文學碩士、東海大學美術研究所碩士，目前任教於東海大學文學院，並擔任EMBA生活美學課程講師。朱先仙從小就極富藝術天份，十六歲起長期於美國、加拿大與英國生活與求學，養成了探索世界的興趣與能力；她曾自學服裝設計、調酒、攝影等，以進行自主式的接觸體驗。三年前正式投入繪畫創作的領域，以直感式抽象畫創作一鳴驚人，成為台灣藝術界的閃耀新星。2021年受邀參與帝圖藝術公司拍賣，成果豐碩。2022年作品入選法國秋季沙龍展，同年並舉辦個展「柯夢波丹」，獲得數十家媒體的專訪。
朱先仙：愛好攝影的我，一向習於透過眼睛觀察世界，捕捉瞬間的感動，進而表達文字所無法傳達的意境。但是後來我發現攝影也有達不到的地方，這部分卻可以用繪畫來補足。這份領悟開啟了我的繪畫創作。藝術對我而言，猶如空氣，抑或滋養生命的養份，讓心靈感受到一股莫名的舒坦。它有時候優雅、有時舒服、有時候讓人神往不已，彷彿具有神奇的力量，指引我們找到「美」存在。藝術是我的第二生命：它就是我，我就是它。
About Xian Xian
Xian Xian, born in 1981, now lives and works in Taichung, Taiwan. She holds master's degrees in arts from both Leeds Metropolitan University and Tunghai University, and works as an art teacher at Tunghai University now. Xian Xian has had artistic talent since she was a child. She has lived and studied in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom for a long time since she was 16 years old. During this time, she has developed an interest in exploring the world and conducted a self-learning process. In this way, she has become an Autodidact of fashion design, bartending, and photography.
Three years ago, she entered the field of painting and began her intuitive abstract painting creation. As a shining star in Taiwan's art circle, she was invited to participate in the auction of Ditu Art Company in 2021. The fruitful results lead to the next step: in 2022, she held a solo exhibition "cosmopolitan", which received exclusive interviews from the media. In the same year, one of her paintings is selected for Le Salon D’automne and will be presented in Paris.
Xian Xian: I am fond of photography, and I have always been accustomed to observing the world through my eyes, capturing the momentary moving, and then expressing the artistic conception that cannot be conveyed by words. But I later discovered that there is a place that cannot be achieved by photography, and this part can be fulfilled by painting. Realizing this, I started my painting creation. For me, art is like the air for breathing. It gives my soul an inexplicable comfort. It is elegant, comfortable, and fascinating, as if it has magical powers, guiding me to find the existence of beauty. Art is my second life: art is me and I am art.
